Both android and IOS are rivals and are battling with each other on the smartphone market scene. Comparing android with IOS is not easy because both the operating system has advantages as well as disadvantages. User Interface

Apple maintains smooth and simple interface of the IOS whereas android provides more options for the user. IOS is restricted to only one brand i.e. apple whereas android is not brand specific. Many smartphone brands use android. One of the biggest disadvantages in an iPhone is lack of back button.

There is no denying the fact that apple store has more applications than the android store but many applications in the apple store are useless. Apple iPhone does not have memory slots means we cannot expand memory of an iPhone. The memory of an iPhone is limited to a max of 64 GB. In android, there is a slot for micro SD card. Therefore, we can easily expand memory in an android phone.

Cost

An iPhone is more expensive than an android phone. Price of an android phone ranges from as low as 2000rs to a whooping 47000rs (Sony experia z). But many video sites like Twitvid and Facebook videos which are built using the latest html5 can only be accessed using an iPhone.

Customer should choose among android and IOS by keeping in mind the cost that he can afford and the features which he wants in his smartphone.
