Empire and Allies Quest Story: Uncharted Mysteries
- Quest #33
- Lasts from May 7, 2012 - June 5, 2012
Commander, it has come to my attention that an entire fleet of your best
carriers, that's about 50 of them, have mysteriously disappeared off
the coast of an unknown empire. I'm good with the seas... and I fly
things. You need me.
Quest Hook: The mysterious disappearance of an entire fleet of your carriers has the government worried. Work with Flygirl to figure out what is going on.
Quest Pop-up: I heard you've got a problem with missing carriers in
uncharted waters. Well, I'm your girl. I've heard some pretty crazy
things about pirates and all sorts of things. Let me help you.
1 - Making Plans
Commander, we need a plan. I'm assuming you want to be in on it? Cause
if you don't, I can go myself right now and sort this mess out. A
meeting? That's what I thought. Call in your people, I'll be waiting.
Build your best units, you're going to need them for this mission.
- Hire {total} Ocean Rescue Workers to search the seas for your missing carriers.
- Clear {total} trees from your island to gather wood for supplies.
- Collect {total} {Ore} to build more units for the search.
Looks like everything is in place to start a search unlike any search we've ever conducted before. Let's do it.
2 - Time for Plan B
Captain, is the search fleet ready for deployment? Send them out and hope for the best. Let's monitor them from above.
Who knows how long your fleet will be gone. Let's hope their supplies don't run out.
- Collect {total} Search Lights to see far into the distance.
- Collect {total} Oil to power your fleet.
- Collect {total} Coins to give to your men on their search mission.
I should have seen this coming, Commander. The second fleet has gone
missing too. They entered a winding canal that laced hundreds of small
islands and before I knew it they were gone.
3 - Ground Mission
Commander I think we should get a little closer... on the ground. Just you and I and a few of your men. Tonight's the night.
Use your new Acid Blasts against those wretched Titans.
- Collect {total} Barrels to store supplies.
- Revive {total} Neighbors Crops to collect food for the mission.
- Fight an attack from a group of advanced Titans.
What are those things? Titans? I've never seen anything like them on
this side of the world. Or any side of the world really. They're holding
all our carriers hostage and now they've got us too. What do we do?
4 - Behind the Scenes
I think we're being taken to speak to someone. I've seen some of your
men and carriers on the way. They don't look like they've been hurt...
too much.
Good old Titans. You know the drill - fight them with your best units.
- Get {total} Pocket Knives to protect yourself.
- Harvest {total} Wheat to feed your hungry men.
- Fight the persistent Titans.
I don't know who this man is but he looks extremely dodgy. He's been
controlling these Titans for weeks. He makes his money on ransoms and he
wants us to pay one too for the safe return of your men. Are you going
to do it?
5 - Dare to Double-Cross?
We're allowed to go home in order to organize the ransom but if I'm
thinking what you're thinking, I say we devise a plan to deceive this
mysterious man. He's not getting any of our money. We're under constant
supervision however so we've got to be careful.
The Titans have been ordered to keep attacking. Our bad guy wants us to know he still controls us.
- Collect {total} Messenger Pigeons to deliver messages discreetly.
- Build {total} Power-Ups to take on more Titan Attacks.
- Fight the never ending Titan attacks.
All your people are aware that there is a top secret plan in the making.
The corridors are silent with anticipation. Luckily for us, our escorts
aren't the brightest bulbs around so they don't have a clue how bad
they're about to have it.
6 - Meeting? What meeting?
Our biggest challenge now is to organize one top secret meeting. It has
to be quick. In and out. You got any bright ideas, Commander?
How about sleeping pills? For your escorts... It's an age old trick. Never fails.
- Collect {total} Protective Body Suits. It's all part of the great plan.
- Use {total} Field Repair I Power Ups in battles t to fend off attacks.
- Fight the unrelenting Titan attacks.
Phew! Those sleeping pills had them out like lights. Now that our plan
is in place we need to suit up and head out. Remember, we're still
pretending that we're going along with this whole ransom thing.
7 - Underwater Mission
We have our fleet of highly advanced attack submarines waiting just a
couple of miles off the shore. As soon as you send the signal, we'll
have men flooding the shores in no time. It'll be loud, bloody and messy
but it'll be a surprise and that's our only advantage.
Our top priority is to evacuate and rescue all our men. But we should also get our hands on our no-name mystery man.
- Collect {total} Lifejackets for the rescues.
- Build {total} Strike Teams to instantly destroy your attackers.
- Fight the Titans. We're almost there, Commander.
The attack is underway Commander. All the bombs, explosions, gunfire,
screams... I love it! Send the signal and I'll have my air fleet in
there in no time.
8 - The Come Down
All right it looks like we've got everyone out of there safe and sound.
We've even got our hands on the mystery man. The agents are calling him
Pirate for now. We're working on trying to turn his Titan toys off.
Until then, keep fighting them.
As soon as Pirate agrees to stop playing with his toys, we'll get some information out of him.
- Arrange for {total} Peacekeeper Uniforms for the forces we're stationing on the affected coastlines.
- Deploy {total} carriers to provide suppliers to our new Peacekeeping force.
- Fight the Titans - one last time.
Okay, that looks like the last of the Titan attacks for now. Now that they're no longer under control, they've fled.
Final Rewards
Congratulations! You earned 5x Experimental Fighter!

Empire and Allies Super Ore Mine Hack
The Super Ore Mine Hack has been known for a while by many people--probably from the day the Super Ore Mine came out. It's not hard to figure out if you know how to interpret the game's client/server communication using a proxy like Charles.
The Super Ore Mine allows you to build the four ores that are not your "natural" one. For instance, if you can naturally build copper, then the other four ores would be aluminum, uranium, iron, and gold. The order of these four ores are used in the game for certain things like quest requirements, military contract costs, and the Super Ore Mine.
The Super Ore Mine Hack modifies the amount of resources that Super Ore Mine contracts give out by changing the multipliers. It's also possible to get ores that you haven't unlocked for the Super Ore Mine in the game yet, as well as oil, wood, and coins! (I don't think many people know about the coins part.)
For this hack, I assume you know how to use Charles Proxy. If you don't know how to use it but don't have the motivation and dedication to learn how to use Charles properly, then hacks like this are not for you!
Keep in mind that I haven't played the game much lately. I built the Super Ore Mine just for this hack. I haven't bothered to unlock all the resources or multipliers beforehand.
I suggest you learn how to perform this hack quickly and get yourself a reasonably large amount of each ore, wood, oil, and coins. Zynga may patch this hack quickly, but they probably won't take away your millions or billions of resources (if you don't act stupidly by bragging about it openly). Don't be too greedy or you may run into problems with the numbers for your resources.
If you are learning this hack for the first time, first try hacking the first ore in your Super Ore Mine--skip steps 5 and 6 below.
Step 1 - Preparation
You should have a Super Ore Mine built so that it's possible for you to start a contract for at least one resource. It's not necessary to unlock all the resources or multipliers. (It may not even be necessary to unlock any of the resources, but I haven't checked that.)
Have the Empires & Allies game loaded.
Load Charles Proxy. Make sure breakpoints are set for the "flashservices" folder of the URL "http://fb-client-zc.empire.zynga.com". DO NOT set it on the Zynga URL itself.
Step 2 - Enable Breakpoints in Charles and Refresh Game
Enable breakpoints in Charles by pressing the red hexagon. This tells Charles to intercept and pause all requests from the client to the server and all responses from the server to the client.
Refresh the game. (To avoid stray requests & responses, you can refresh the game first and then enable breakpoints in Charles. You just need to time it correctly, which shouldn't be too hard since it takes the game so long to load.)
Step 3 - Find "initUser" Response
There may be stray requests or responses that came from before you refreshed the game. You need to be able to recognize these and abort, cancel, or execute them to make them go away.
After the refresh, the client sends a request with the function "UserService.initUser" to the server to load the game. Execute this request. The AMF response will be very large. It contains a lot of data that the server sends to the client to tell it how to load the game with your settings. The response looks like this:
Step 4 - Edit "unlockedResource"
Under the "data" folder, look for "unlockedResource". In this folder are all the resources that you have unlocked for your Super Ore Mine. The following image shows only aluminum because I haven't unlocked the other ores yet. It shows a "1" because that is my current multiplier and I haven't unlocked higher multipliers yet.
Double-click on the "1" (or whatever integer you have) to edit it. Change it to a large number such as "99999999" WITHOUT quotation marks (or commas or periods). Pick a number large enough so that you don't have to purchase too many contracts later on. Don't use a number too large or you will get an error message in Charles. I used eight "9"s; nine "9"s would be too many.
If you are skipping the next two optional steps, then execute the response and turn off breakpoints in Charles. If you are doing steps 5 and 6, do not execute the response yet.
Step 5 (Optional) - Edit "unlockedResource": Continued
This step and the next step are to hack ores that you haven't unlocked within the game, as well as oil, wood, and coins. If you want to produce large amounts of an ore you have already unlocked in the game, skip these steps.
Double-click on the resource name ("aluminum" in my image/example) to edit it. Change it to the resource you want to hack. You need to do this if you are hacking oil, wood, or coins.
If you are hacking another resource at the same time, edit the lines for those as well.
Step 6 (Optional) - Edit "resourceOrder"
Open up the "userInfo" folder and then the "world" subfolder.
Look for the "resourceOrder" subfolder:
The image shows the four ores that are not your "natural" one, but you might not have all of them unlocked for your Super Ore Mine.
You need to edit a resource that you have already unlocked for your Super Ore Mine, either within the game or through hacking in the previous step. If you have more than one resource unlocked, you can edit more than one here. As an example, I will work with the first row, which starts with "[0]" and happens to be for aluminum for me but may be different for you.
First, click on the "String Reference" on the first row and change it to "String". Double-click on the name of the ore on the first row to edit it ("aluminum" in my image/example, but it may be different for you). Change it to the ore that you want to unlock, or to "oil", "wood", or "coins". (If you have more ores unlocked for your Super Ore Mine and want to edit those, go ahead.)
The resource(s) that you hack here should correspond to the resources that you hacked in the previous step.
Execute the response. Turn off breakpoints in Charles.
Step 7 - Contract Purchase and Collection
Let the game load. Click on the Super Ore Mine. You will see something like this:
The numbers for the resources you see in the contracts are the base numbers multiplied by the multiplier that you entered in step 4. Select the shortest-term contract, "Weighted Wealth", which only takes 15 minutes to complete. There may be a way to shorten the actual time you need to wait, but I haven't investigated that.
DO NOT refresh the game before the contract completes. To be safe, don't do anything else in the game so that you aren't forced to refresh the game. (If you must do something in the game, at least don't visit neighbors or engage in battles.) If the game is refreshed, all the settings you edited will default back to the settings saved on the game server and you will have to repeat the edits.
When the contract completes, collect the resource from the Super Ore Mine. You can see the resource amount updated in your resources bar at the top of your game screen. (You need to expand the bar to see all the resources.)
Repeat the contract purchase and collection for the same resource as many times as you want before refreshing the game. However, you should have chosen a number large enough in step 4 so that you shouldn't need to purchase more than one or a few contracts.
Step 6 - Repeat
If you want to hack other resources, repeat steps 2-7 for those other resources.

Empires-and-allies-perilous-pursuit-missions
Quest Story: Perilous Pursuit
This is the quest-story version of the guide.
- Quest #32
- Lasts April 30, 2012 – May 29, 2012
- All paths can be done simultaneously.
- Some tasks have lower requirements for players level 50 or lower.
The plans for the Neutralizer are incomplete. There's a vital piece that must be made from a rare ore, only found on the island of Gamor. Getting to Gamor is no easy task. There are hostile nations on the way; they will shoot first and ask questions later.
You can progress down both paths at once. The top path will earn you the SpecOps Coyote Artillery and the bottom, the SpecOps Commando.
Quest Hook: The Eel is ruthless when he's on a mission. He's in a nuclear kind of mood this time and he's working with an evil dictator to blow half the world into bits.
Quest Pop-up: I don't know how he did it but he hacked into my system. Even I can't hack into my system. He's got the plans for the Nuclear Neutralizer and he knows where to get that very rare ore. That's the only thing keeping him from blowing up the world.
1 - Hacker Heist
Using sophisticated digitized tracking methods, maybe we can get a hold on The Eel's location.
This will be a difficult journey. Red hearts and the support of your allies are very important right now.
- Get {total} Hacker Tracker Worms to help find the location of Eel's operations.
- Earn {total} Red Hearts to get back up from your neighbors if necessary.
- Harvest {total} Corn to feed your men on the dangerous journey ahead.
Unfortunately, he's given us the slip but leaves his laptop behind. We can only assume that he has the stolen plans on a device - a device that we'll have to find and destroy.
TOP PATH
2a - Catch me if you can!
The Eel has a head start. We must catch up and fast. Where will he go next? Why of course! The Airport! He'll head straight to the dictatorship to gather resources for this journey to Gamor. We must stop him before he can leave.
Even the bugs in Gamor are hostile.
- Collect {total} Federal Agent Badges to instantly get through airport security.
- Collect {total} {rare} to build powerful units.
- Harvest {total} Strawberries. They soothe insect bites from a species native to Gamor.
We couldn't stop the plane before it took off. The smarter thing to do is to head to The Eel's next destination - the dictatorship.
3a1 - Explosive Action
The Eel is a slimy, clever villain, that's for sure. He's planted a bomb at the airport and called in a warning. Our agents must abandon their pursuit, find and diffuse the bomb before it goes off.
The Eel won't stop at just one distraction, he never does.
- Gather {total} Protective Bomb Suits to stay safe while diffusing the bomb.
- Fight some troops from Gamor.
- Pillage {total} times to gather supplies.
Phew! We diffused that bomb just in time to fend off an attack from a very rowdy, rabid looking set of troops. They're from Gamor we think. Expect more of them when we're there.
3a2 - Tricks and Traps
It's time to send in the troops. Let's be smart about it. We can't march into enemy territory without serious repercussions. We'll have to go guerrilla. Get your agents into the dictatorship on fake passports and half the battle is won.
The guerilla troops are everywhere, stay alert.
- Obtain {total} fake passports to enter Gamor smoothly.
- Fight guerilla troops that think you are special forces from the government of Gamor.
- Earn {total} Black Hearts. You'll need 'em in a place like Gamor.
Mission accomplished! Your agents are now in the dictatorship. They managed to find where The Eel is holed up and surrounded his hideout.
4a - Midnight Mission
I've had enough! Let's send a surveillance aircraft to do a reconnaissance of enemy territory. Quick, Commander, the plane is spotted and the dictator's forces are about to launch an attack on us. We need to get out of there!
Repel invasions using strike teams or battles.
- Get {total} Parachutes to drop from the air into enemy territory.
- Fight {total} World Domination Fights to grow strong and powerful.
- Deploy {total} Grunt Soldiers to deal with the bloodshed.
Phew, our best man escaped by the teeth of his skin. He's managed to gather quite a bit of information too. With this we're more than prepared to conduct a stealthy night drop of troops into the heart of the dictatorship where they can trace The Eel.
5a - The Eel Encounter
Our troops manage to surround The Eel's hideout without being detected. The plan is to storm the building and take the villain by surprise. It's dangerous but it should work.
The guerillas are persistent and ruthless - they must never find out about our mission.
- Acquire {total} Civilian Outfits to blend in with the crowd after the mission.
- Deal {total} damage to Artillery Units to defend yourselves.
- Fight more guerilla troops.
We've got the Eel and while we're here, we might as well pick up the Ore for the neutralizer. I love happy endings.

2b - Ready to Resist
Call in your military advisor. There's no time to waste. You tell him to prepare the troops to go into action if the dictator does not surrender The Eel and the stolen plans. You will take him by force, if necessary.
The men always fight better after a good breakfast of energy bars and strawberries.
- Collect {total} Energy Bars as part of your army rations.
- Collect {total} {rare} to build more powerful units for bloody battle.
- Harvest {total} Total Strawberries, also part of the army rations.
Preparations have been made, Commander. Let's do this.
3b - Allies Assemble
This isn't just a threat to your empire. It's a threat to the world. So you call on your allies and ask them to join forces with you to defeat the common enemy.
In Gamor, a reputation for violence will get you far.
- Get {total} Desert Canteens in case we get stranded in the sun.
- Destroy {total} units to defend yourselves.
- Earn {total} Black Hearts. They're all the rage near Gamor.
Your troops are growing. Unfortunately, we've received reports that The Eel has left the dictatorship and is heading towards Gamor in a heavily protected convoy. They are now in the middle of the desert.
4b1 - Decoy Deception
The plan is to send out our air bombers to attack the convoy. This should work, in theory at least.
Who doesn't love a good hostile takeover?
- Get {total} Trojan Horses to remind you of age-old battle trickery.
- Earn {total} Mastery Tokens. If you can take on the Dark Alliance, you can take on the Eel.
- Win {total} battles in Battle Blitz to gain power and resources.
That did not go according to plan at all. The dictatorship's air force also arrived on the scene. The air was filled with gunfire. You manage to shoot down a couple of their planes. We checked the convoy, it was a decoy. The Eel isn't there.
4b2 - Soaring Victory
You don't have time to lose, Commander. Instead of pursuing the convoy, we should send troops directly to Gamor.
Mystery Units are obtained by expanding your empire.
- Obtain {total} Aircrew Headsets for easy transmission.
- Harvest {total} Chili Peppers.
- Acquire {total} Mystery Units to expand your empire and therefore, your power.
We got through most foreign airspace smoothly but one hostile nation sent their heavy guns after us. We barely made it but we did. Thank goodness.
5b - Score the Ore
We've reached Gamor and it seems we're early to this party. Send half the troops to look for the rare ore and the other half wait to Ambush The Eel and his party.
We're almost there, let's stick it through.
- Collect {total} Pickaxes to look for the Ore.
- Win {total} fights in World Domination to free other lands from the hands of dirty villains.
- Deploy {total} Grunt Soldiers for the much awaited ambush.
Your victory is hard won, but at the end of the battle, you have defeated The Eel and confiscated the CD with the plans. Your troops also manage to find the ore. Well done, Commander!
